Ben was woken up by a phone call at ten o"clock in the morning. He had taken a day off at work and he wanted to get enough sleep at least on that particular day, so he had not set his alarm clock the night before. But the phone kept on ringing, so he got out of the bed, unwillingly, reached for the telephone and answered it. It was one of his colleagues. He was calling Ben to inform him about an accident that had just taken place in the office. The huge rack shelf situated in their server room had collapsed, and now half of the equipment was not working or seemed to be completely damaged. Ben had never had a situation like that. Whenever he had a free day, it meant that he was not responsible for anything that was going on in his workplace. But at the same time, he was a very conscientious person, and he knew that he was the only one who might help in this situation. He explained that he would be there in an hour. He got up, got dressed, and left for work. The rack shelf that had collapsed had not been used in the right way, he knew that straight away. They shouldn"t have put so much weight on it, or they should have installed suitable shelves made of stronger materials. Now he had no way out but to try to save the equipment.
